member how-to
It might take a little while to get the lay of the land around here, so we’ve made a quick cheat-sheet for you to get you acquainted with things. If you have any questions at all, please post them on the Site Suggestions & Questions forum in our discussion area.
Here are the basics:
Member Login
Every page of the site, whether for members only or free to the public, has a widget in the sidebar that will enable you to log in. If you are logged in, it will say “You are logged in.” If not, it will say “Log in.” We know, genius is at work here.
Member Dashboard
After logging in you will immediately be redirected to your member dashboard, which is your own little private oasis here on the site. We’ll have tips, tricks and homework assignments to keep you empowered. Relax, there won’t be any grading.
Your Private RSS Feed
If you look over to the right, where your member login widget is, you’ll see “RSS Feed” (example below). You have a private feed that contains members-only content, so you can add that to your favorite reader to ensure you don’t miss anything.

Community Boards
Our community discussion boards will be the epicenter of your wellness coaching. As we’re just getting started, for now you will find several key things there:
- Whine Bar: The venting place. ‘Nuff said.
- Lounge: Introduce yourself, kick your feet up and embrace the zen.
- Requests for Our Coaches: Tell us what you’re struggling with so we can design coaching around it.
- Site Suggestions & Questions: What works for you, and what doesn’t?
These will help us craft the rest — and we need your input to do that. Please come over and share your thoughts with us. You’ll be able to see the latest discussion posts right in your sidebar.
Free vs. Member Areas
Aside from the “Free Articles” category in the navigation bar, and general pages about the site (About Us, Our Team, etc.), everything here is members-only, so it’s just for you to enjoy. We’ve got a ton of great content coming, especially for the holiday season, so we can’t wait to share that with you.
At this time our discussion boards are read-only for non-members so they can take a look and kick the tires, but over time we will close off specific sections that will be available only to you.
We think that covers things for now! Again, if you have any questions, just come over to the boards and let us know how we could improve your user experience. We love having you here, and can’t wait to chat!
